TorBox Free Trial 2026: 24 Hours and the Referral Bonus

TorBox has a 24 hour trial, as of our check on 1 November 2026. It lets you try paid features briefly before paying. It does not count towards your bonus, so using it does not use up your 7 extra days per month purchased. Your bonus waits for your first real paid purchase. Because trial terms can change, confirm the current offer in your own account.

Choosing a term: if you are sure you will use TorBox for a year, make 12 months your first purchase. Only the first purchase on an account earns the bonus, and 12 months is the only term that earns the full 84 bonus days (21 for 3 months, 42 for 6). Renewals do not earn it. The free plan is a standing tier with fixed limits. See free plan for the numbers. The trial is a one-off window. People often mix them up, and many “free trial” search results are really describing the free plan.

Why the trial does not count

Your bonus is tied to a first paid purchase. The trial is not one, and neither is a voucher. Both are excluded in the rules we have verified, and we do not know TorBox’s reasoning beyond that. The practical effect is good for you: you can test first and still claim the bonus later.

The right order

1. Create your account and, if you like, use the free plan or the trial to check that TorBox works with your setup.
2. Decide which plan fits. The pricing page lays them out: Essential $3, Standard $5, Pro $10 per month at list price.
3. When you are ready to pay, log in, open our link and confirm the popup.
4. Buy. The bonus is 7 extra days for each month purchased: 21 for 3 months, 42 for 6, 84 for 12. Since it only applies to the first purchase of each account, a longer first term earns more bonus days in total. Check the price at checkout, and only take a year if you are sure you will use it.

What to test during a trial

A 24 hour window is short. Use it deliberately:

• Add a Linux ISO or a file you have the rights to and check the download speed against your line.
• Try the web player and the file browser.
• Connect the app you actually plan to use, for example via WebDAV. See WebDAV.
• Check the interface and the storage options.
• If you care about Usenet, test it, since it is a paid feature.

Be careful with trial claims elsewhere

If you see a page promising a “30 day free trial” or “free premium for a month”, note that we have not verified any such offer. If a site wants your card for a free TorBox trial, go to torbox.app directly. For a longer test without payment, the free plan is the safer route.

A one-day test plan

A 24 hour window goes fast, so decide in advance what would convince you. Write down your three real needs before you start, for example a 15GB file, three downloads at once, and your media app connected. Then run exactly those. Two things to keep in mind. First, do not judge paid features by the free plan: it caps single downloads at 10GB with 1 slot, so a 15GB test only makes sense if the trial lifts that limit, which you should check in your account. Second, speed depends on your own connection and route, so run the test at the time of day you will normally use it, and note the result so you can compare it with the plan limits (Essential and Standard list 1Gbps, Pro 80Gbps, which your line will not reach).

If the trial is not offered to your account, the free plan with its 10 downloads a month is the fallback for a light test.

Please do not repeat trials

Making new accounts to renew a trial, or to claim the bonus twice, violates the terms and can lead to a ban. The bonus is first purchase only. If you need more time to decide, use the free plan.

What we could not verify

The exact conditions of the trial (payment details required, which features are included, whether every account is eligible) are not something we can confirm from public pages. We state only what we have checked: a 24 hour trial exists, and it does not count towards your bonus.
